This compilation features select matches from the ICW. Based out of Lexington, KY, International Championship Wrestling was founded by wrestler-turned-promoter Angelo Poffo in 1978 and ran through the mid-1980's until it merged with the Memphis wrestling territory. It was one of the more successful regional territories of it's time, and featured many wrestlers who would go on to be superstarts of the sport - Randy Savage, Jerry Lawler, Ron Garvin, and more. "Masters of Mayhem" was originally an officially released VHS that featured some of the more brutal matches from ICW.
