Episode One Hiking the trail North to South, the journey begins at the town of Conestogo and makes it's way across the Grand and Conestogo Rivers, through the small town and out into the rural countryside, eventually to the tip of Waterloo. This hike ends at the Health Valley Trailhead in Waterloo.

Episode 3 “St.Jacobs” The journey continues hiking into St.Jacobs country where the warm winds blow and the clouds float across a big sky. Through farms and woodlots the trailed weaved, popping out at Conservation Road to end another glorious evening on the trail. Episode 4 “Musselman Woods” The journey continues with a walk down Conservation Road on a fine autumn evening where the horses were glowing in the sunlight, the starlings lurked in the cornfields, and fresh pears were falling from the trees. I ducked into the woods for an amazing trail section leading to a beautiful hilltop view of the countryside and the glorious sunset in Musselman Woods. The days were getting shorter and the mushrooms were out. The best hiking yet on the Avon Trail !
