The Trans Day of Vengeance is an event that takes place annually to commemorate the lives of trans people who have been murdered or otherwise lost their lives due to transphobia. This year's event has been marred by controversy as reports have emerged of violence and attacks on opposing views. In Vancouver, British Columbia, a group of trans protestors allegedly attacked a group of people with opposing views in front of police officers who reportedly did nothing to intervene.
