Today we sit down with Amateur MMA Featherweight Champion Fredaws "Bobby Murda" Nayimi. Bobby amassed a 25-7 Kickboxing record where he won multiple titles including World Amateur Muay Thai Association of Canada Title at 140lbs, a second place finish at the World Kickboxing Association American Nationals and was a member of the Canadian Kickboxing team.

Bobby's come up could be a movie. Bobby illegally escaped from Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover in the 90's. From there he lived in a one bedroom house with 14 other people in Russia. After spending 10 years in Russia he emigrated to Canada. He made some good choices and some bad choices in Canada but ultimately decided to chase his dream to be a pro MMA fighter and moved to Western PA to work on his ground game.

There are some good nuggets that athletes, businesspeople, and overall grinders can take from this podcast. The biggest takeaway I got from this is that we have it GOOD in the states. We forget that sometimes. Even when things seem dark, we're still in the land of opportunity where dreams really do come true.
