A few weeks ago I did a video on the Harry Murray Strymph fly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU-GwIQEwjY) which is similar to the Red Faced Wobbler streamer. Where the Strymph can be fished as either a streamer or a nymph the Red Faced Wobbler is usually fished just as a streamer. The idea is that the red hackle at the front of the fly, that is supported by the Estaz behind it, causes the fly to wobble when swung in the water. It has been around for a number of years and has been a great fly for Bass, panfish and other warmwater species. Not that you can not throw it to some trout, and you would probably catch some, but it is generally throwing in warmer waters. A fairly quick fly to tie and it can be easily adapted to many fishing situations. -- Enjoy
