The History of Downtown Garage!
Christian Blaudschuk is the founder of Down Town Garage. He was born in Berlin, DDR. He went to Automotive Repair School in the DDR.
Christian loves watching American movies with American cars and dreams of having one someday. He wanted to work on them American Cars too.
On November 09, 1989, the chains came off Christian! He had the chance to make his dream come true by owning an American car. He was an auto mechanic. So he worked very hard to own his repair shop!
On October 01, 1992, Christian opened his very first American car repair garage on this day.
On April 01, 1995, on a Saturday, Christian opened his American Car Club House on this day.
On June 04, 2005, on a Saturday, Antje Werbelow and Christian turned the Club House into a Diner on that day.
Antje Werbelow was born in berlin, DDR. She went to Service School to learn to be a waitress in Hotels and Restaurants in the DDR. She married Christian
On April 01, 2011, Antje opened her first Down Town Motel on this day.
In June 2016, Antje and Christian married. She wanted to focus more time on her motel. So, later in the year, she turned her diner over to Paul Werbelow.
