In Russia like in China the authotirites are burning extreme volumes of coal polluting the cities, but unlike China there is more space in Russia. In Russia they dont care about global warming stuff and mines are open, extraction is at high levels, gas and oil pipes function at maximum. What the West does with closing up mines is a hypocrisy since Western governments either way have to buy those minerals and it will always be more expensive from another country. China and Russia are not stupid they dont sell cheap, it was cheap until now to buy influence but once they cant buy it, political influence that is, the prices will go even higher. The solution is to be smart and dont close up minning in Europe.
