PICKUPS! Castlevania & Ninja Gaiden NES Game-Inspired Paperbacks & Hyperkin N64 Port Adapter!

In this #Short, we share 3 of our latest pickups from Live Action Games, including 2 awesome NES Game-Inspired paperback books!

In the 1980's, one of the best times of the school year was when you could order books from Scholastic Books. It was so much fun and I got some amazing Star Wars books from it over the years. However, the one thing I never got was any video game-related books that I can remember. On a recent trip to Live Action Games though, he had 2 Worlds of Power books in the store recently traded in, and as soon as I saw them I had to have them.

The special thing with both books, a Ninja Gaiden one and a Castlevania 2: Simons's Quest one, is that they are original stories set in those universes. They took you deeper into those worlds on all-new adventures, and really helped create a special connection with those games. For the money I knew I had to have them!

In addition to the 2 books, I also finally managed to snag a Hyperkin HyperConvert Cartridge Adapter for the Nintendo 64. I know a few people have been asking for my take on this recently, and I am glad that I will be able to do so. The HyperConvert will allow anyone to play Japanese N64 games on an American N64, which really opens up the options for collecting.
