6 killed in Nashville school shooting, city councilman says “it’s the reality of where we are”

Three nine-year-old students and three adults were killed in a shooting at a private Christian elementary school on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee. “Unfortunately, this is the world in which we live. This school prepared for this with active shooter training for a reason. We don't like to think that this is ever going to happen to us, but experience has taught us that we need to be prepared because in this day and time, it's the reality of where we are,” said Nashville Councilman Russ Pulley.
