Summary:
When we speak of salvation or being saved, we often find that religion has obscured the meaning of the words. Many well-meaning people have come to believe that salvation is found in the church, through tenets, steps, and rituals that have their roots in paganism. When we look carefully in the Scriptures, we find salvation means saved from the coming wrath and judgment of God. And there is only one name under heaven whereby men might be saved: Jesus Christ!

Takeaway:
If you can’t remember a time when you called on the Lord to be saved, make today that day! Believing on Him is believing that He is who He said He is, who God declares Him to be, and trusting Him for your salvation, believing He died for your sins as your Redeemer.
