220 KGS DEADLIFT 1 REP MAX PR!

To be honest, I screwed up this pull pretty badly, lol. I just got kind of lost in the moment (or the echo, you could say 😏) and adrenaline took over, resulting in my starting position being off/shoulders a bit too far forward, and my pull not being as tight as it should have been, and being a bit more herky jerky, lol. Definitely not as tight/solid as my 200 Kgs pull, right before this. This wouldn't be competition approved, but hey, at the end of the day, this is still a big milestone for me, and I'm happy. Plus, as I mentioned before, I had no prepping/peaking for this, hadn't done any singles training, or lifting heavy raw/strapless sets in around 1-2 months, and I could definitely tell that I was not feeling at my strongest, once the weight started getting heavier. I was thinking of trying this in about a month, after trying to prep myself for it a bit, but I just felt like going for it, lol. Totally spur of the moment. So I see this overall as a big win, and encouraging for my future potential. If I was better prepared, and didn't bork the pull, I probably would have smoked this. So that only means I have more to give, more to work on, and more to PUSH FOR! 🤘🏻
