An American in Russia: Interview with Esha K. (Part 2)

This week on Maverick News we spoke to Esha Krishnaswamy (aka Esha K.)-- host of the Historicly podcast, writer for The Grayzone, Salon, and many others.

Esha is an American citizen now living in St. Petersberg, #Russia. She is currently writing a book on the history of the former #SovietUnion.

In Part 2 of our interview, Esha compares living in Russia now to her former life in the United States. We talk about Russia's cost of living, the effect of Western #sanctions, #inflation, #crime, #homelessness, and overall quality of life, which she says is far better in Russia than in the U.S. today.

We also delve into how the Russian people feel about President Vladimir #Putin and the Special Military Operation in #Ukraine.
