Politicians can't 'fix' or 'ruin' your lives unless you let them.

Elections definitely have ramifications but way too many people treat politicians like gods or devils - they are neither. Are you relieved? Dejected? Overjoyed? Devastated?

Let me suggest that the political elite, of any party, crave importance and agency in your life and if we keep giving them that regard we are doomed.

So if you are overwhelmed with emotion today, do some introspection and reconsider your mental and emotional priorities.

I don't care who rules the roost, I just want the roost to leave me alone.
