On this edition of Maverick News we interview Caleb Maupin and Tyler McConnell of the Center for Political Innovation about their upcoming "Summit Against Hypocrisy" March 25-26 in Washington, D.C. -- a rebuttal to President Joe Biden's annual "Summit For Democracy."

The Summit Against Hypocrisy will highlight the widespread human rights violations of the United States at home and around the world. Organizers say they will debunk much of the regime change war propaganda put forward by Biden's administration against countries like #Russia, #China, #Iran, #Venezuela, #Angola, #NorthKorea, the #Philippines, and #Serbia, among others.

Featured speakers will include:

Scott Ritter, former U.N. Weapons Inspector and military analyst, will be speaking on the need for a new arms control treaty, and the danger of escalation between the U.S. and Russia.

Radio host Garland Nixon, whose tweets were at the center of a recent diplomatic controversy involving the U.S. government's handling of the #Taiwan crisis, will speak on "imperialist disinformation."

Nick Brana, chair of the People's Party, will present on the suppression of third party and independent candidates in the U.S. electoral system.

Comedian and filmmaker Peter Coffin will be speaking, along with Daniel Villa of New York's WBAI radio on a panel discussion.

British anti-war activist and cofounder of the U.K. Workers Party Joti Brar will also be attending as a special guest, coming all the way from the U.K.

The event is hosted and sponsored by the Center for Political Innovation, a socialist and anti-imperialist education project based in Oregon.

Our guest Caleb Maupin -- journalist for RT, activist, and political analyst -- is the founder of #CPIUSA, and will be on hand along with CPI's Tyler McConnell to make presentations on the challenges we face, and most importantly, the path forward.

The Summit Against Hypocrisy will also be attended by representatives of the Korean Friendship Association, the Schiller Institute, the American Student Union and other sympathetic organizations that share our outrage at #Biden's upcoming pro-war Summit for Democracy.

The Summit Against Hypocrisy is at the Hyatt Place Hotel, 2121 M Street NW, Washington, D.C.. Doors open at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 25. The summit continues on Sunday, March 26.
