Craving "Five Guys" or that Gormet-style burger? The Classic Smashed Burger fits the bill and is a faction of the price made at home. Gooey cheese, fresh onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, burger sauce all on a toasted Brioche burger bun. A crowd pleaser every time.
BURGER INGREDIENTS:
1x 500grams Certified Angus Mince Beef ® 80/20 lean (20% fat) This will make 4 burgers
Half a medium white onion diced/grated
1 Brioche burger bun
1 1/2 teaspoons good quality sea salt (Maldon)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
FILLING/TOPPINGS
2 slices Gouda, American or Mozzarella cheese
2 leaves Baby Gem lettuce
2/3 slices vine-ripe tomatoes
2/3 slices Pickled Gherkins or Cornichons
Sliced onion to your liking
Tomato Sauce,
Home Made Burger Sauce (Any sauce you like)
