Wondering why you get targeted personal ads on facebook? Well, it's because they "know a little something about you." For me, I like it, for others it gives them "data creep." Personally, I like targeted ads (as opposed to getting junk ads that are in no way related to what I am interested in). To me, this is a tradeoff. You pay ZERO for an amazing application like Facebook, and they have tons of employees who need to make a living.
