So. The "Cali Class". I mean, for what it's basically meant to do - "Second Contact" - it's not a bad platform. It doesn't have /all/ of the niceties and features of a Full On Galaxy Class, but they're also not out for as long, not (normally) encountering as many hostile species, and not having to freight around whole piles of people periodically.

They do seem to have a problem with people leaving them, though, if Beckett Mariner is any indication.
