• Rev 12:13-14 The defeated earth-bound dragon (Satan, Rev_12:9) now angrily persecuted the people from whom the Messiah comes, represented by the woman who bore the male ruler. This may be ethnic Jewish people, or, if this group is in view in Rev_12:10-11 (brethren, blood of the lamb, testimony), it must be Jewish believers. The woman is somehow brought to her place of protection from the serpent, the wilderness, as if carried on the wings of a great eagle. This is similar to how Israel escaped the Egyptians and came to Mount Sinai. A time probably equals one year, so the period of protection here is three and one-half years, which corresponds to the length of the two witnesses’ testimony in Rev_11:3. It is also equivalent to the period of the beast’s authority (“forty-two months” in Rev_13:5), which includes his ability “to make war with the saints and to overcome them”.

• Rev 12:15-16 Satan, through Antichrist, spews his hostility and anger upon the Jewish people, chasing them like a flood. How many Jews will survive? According to Zec_13:9, two out of three will die. But the end result will be that one-third of Israel will finally acknowledge the Lord and will enter the kingdom, the Millennium, the thousand years of peace. The earth will open its mouth and swallow the armies of the Antichrist, like it did Korah and his company. There is no way of determining whether this describes an actual flood or figuratively describes the onslaught of Satan against those protected by God.

• Rev 12:17 The woman represents faithful Jews and the son represents Jesus Christ, the rest of her children are all believers in Christ. The apostle Paul tells us that we are in a spiritual battle. John says that the war is still being waged, but the outcome has already been determined. Satan and his followers have been defeated and will be destroyed. Nevertheless Satan is battling daily to bring more into his ranks and to keep his own from defecting to God's side. Those who belong to Christ have gone into battle on God's side, and he has guaranteed them victory. God will not lose the war, but we must make certain not to lose the battle for our own souls. Don't waver in your commitment to Christ. A great spiritual battle is being fought, and there is no time for indecision.

Personal Supplication
Father in the name of Jesus, no matter how fierce the end time battle may rage, keep me from the hour of temptation and preserve my soul.
Rev 3:10
10 “Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
