7th Last Call Dodge Challenger – Horsepower and Torque Ratings – REAL NUMBERS not Wishful Thinking

I calculate the HORSEPOWER and TORQUE for the Dodge Challenger 7th Special Edition Last Call car. I can tell you now, that I am right about these numbers, and everybody else is going on wishful thinking, and misplaced fanboy mentality.Show more

This car must be a factory Stage Kit car, with the final Stage III for the Hellcat Redeye, Jailbreak or Super Stock trims. If its not, then why would anybody give money to Direct Connection for Stage III when they would not be able to compete with the 7th Last Call Challenger? Sure, this is speculation, since Dodge isnt known for making great choices.

My calculations though are sound, and while I’m not a chemical engineer, these numbers are a close approximation of the horsepower and torque ratings the 7th Last Call will have.

The first teaser video for the unveiling of the Final Last Call Challenger, set for the Roadkill Nights in Las Vegas, NV was the “Runnin’ Hyde” video, showing a Leprechaun transformation. This was the easiest to solve, since it’s all but been confirmed the car will be E85 capable.

The second teaser video was “Density Matters”. This is the one that everyone got wrong. Most assumed it was boost related forgetting the actual name of the video. This gives up the density of the fuel the Last Call Challenger will be able to burn, which is 7.1 lbs/gal. This is one the higher end so the blend is still unknown. Ethanol is heavier than gasoline, something hinted at by the scale tipping in favor of the E85 Leprechaun.

The third video was “Scream @ 215 mph” showing the buff Leprechaun hollering into an anemometer showing the equation 105@(3.02 x 2.98)=1582. The numbers don’t refer to boost, pulley size or even intake CFM (cubic feet per minute). A scream, is an exhalation, which is what the Ghoul or Goblin is doing. This indicates the number is related to the car’s exhaust.

The numbers are confirmed by existing Dodge Demon exhaust pipe dimensions, yielding the exhaust CFM. It is with well known formulas that we can extract the HP rating for the car, based off MAX exhaust CFM.

The final video is “HEMI Vice” showing the Ghoul or Goblin using a jackhammer on presumably ethanol globes, with the jack hammer (powered by a Hemi) displaying 2538 psi. Again, many incorrectly assumed this was fuel injector pressure, which would place it in the Direct Injection category but Hemis are Port Injection. So the number indicates MAX cylinder pressure. We already know the Dodge Demon cylinder pressure at 1958 psi, making it relatively easy to calculate the Last Call Challenger’s torque rating.
