Angel Takes Over Nestorations 🌲 03/14/23

Angel's mate flies into the nest with a soft piece of nesting material. After placing it and doing a bit of rearranging, Angle shows up with her own piece to add to the nest. Her mate wants to help and tries to gently take the piece, but Angel wants to place it, so her mate takes the hint and flies off to get more. Angel remains to rearrange the bedding and cup the nest, bringing it up to her standards.

Angel's Story (from cam link above):
Angel is a very rare Leucistic Red-Tailed Hawk. 2 years ago, Angel & Mohawk (no longer around) raised 3 chicks and they fledged successfully. Last year Angel chose a new mate and he was still a subadult. Since the new male was not fully mature, they did not have eggs last year. This year he has fully matured and their bond seems strong. Will post a view soon about the history of Angel and how we came to put in this very unique and rare camera.
