After gaining access to the moon and recruiting the god of all Eidolons to Rydia's side, Cecil enters the Crystal Palace at the center of the moon where he meets his Lunarian uncle Fusoya who explains the story of his people, Cecil's father Kluya, and the true villain of the game Zemus, who is manipulating Golbez into gathering the Crystals to awaken the Giant of Babel to destroy Earth to make a new home for his people. When the crew returns to Earth, the Giant has already been awakened, so Cecil and crew go inside the Giant to destroy it from within!
