Fire Emblem Engage - Hard Classic - Part 52: The Connector (Alear's Paralogue)

At last we have all of the Emblem Rings back in our possession, and thanks to their miracle power, we now have a 13th emblem as well! As a result, Alear gets her own Paralogue battle!

Unlike the other Emblems, Alear has a physical form, which gives her a different method of engaging. In order for a unit to engage with Emblem Alear, that unit must stand next to her, and then Alear can use the "Engage+" ability to engage with that unit. And the abilities each unit can use with Emblem Alear is based on their support level with her (C Support unlocks level 5 skills, B support unlocks level 10 skills, and A support unlocks level 20 skills)

You start this battle with your army split on the east and west sides of the map, and a boss Corrupted right in the middle. You'll want your army to converge on the north side of the map to intercept the boss, because the boss will run away to the north side and if he escapes it's Game Over.

After killing the boss corrupted and retrieving the stolen ring, the battle is not over yet! The objective changes to finish off the remaining enemies. There is also another boss Corrupted that appears on the south side of the map once the victory conditions change, but killing him alone is not enough. "Rout the enemy" means killing every enemy unit on the map.

Once you kill all of the enemies, Alear gets the Pact Ring, which can raise one A-rank support unit's support level to Ring-rank, and unlock the Level 21 skill for Emblem Alear, Boon of Elyos, for that unit.
