Every Word in Scripture Has Its Distinct Definition
Scripture has no redundancies. No two words in Scripture mean exactly the same thing. Each word in Scripture has its own distinct definition that conveys a specific meaning. English-speaking Christians would do well to stop looking up Greek and Hebrew words to determine the meaning of Scripture verses. They have more than enough to do looking up English words and rightly defining them. Christians should understand that the Scripture is not some literary work of art subject to the fanciful and whimsical notions of textual critics and unregenerate scholars; it is the word of God.
