Origins:
1-Anterior Head: Inferior Ramus of Pubis
2-Anterior Head: Inferior Ramus of Ischium
3-Posterior Head: Ischial Tuberosity

Insertions:
1-Anterior Head: Linea Aspera
2-Anterior Head: Gluteal Tuberosity
3-Anterior Head: Medial Supracondylar Line of the Femur
4-Posterior Head: Adductor Tubercle of the Femur

Functions:
1-Adduction of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
2-Extension of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
3-Posterior Tilt of the Pelvis @ the Hip Joint
4-Flexion of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
5-Medial Rotation of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint

Nerves:
1-Anterior Head: The Obturator Nerve
2-Posterior Head: The Tibial Nerve

Activation: (Side-Lying) Resist Adduction of the Hip (Knee Bent)
Lengthening: (Supine) Abduction and Slight Flexion of the Hip (Support Opposite Hip)
