‘Iran-Saudi Arabia agreement will have enormous impact in the region’

Iran and Saudi Arabia found common ground and have agreed to resume diplomatic relations and reopen their embassies. In a deal brokered by China, senior officials from the Middle Eastern countries held talks in Beijing to bridge the divide.
Professor of Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Carlos Ruiz Miguel, believes these agreements are a huge diplomatic success for China, and will have a significant impact in the region.
