This week, I was excited to be joined by Major General John Hussey, (ret). He gave me some inspiring moments on owning your struggles and challenges and overcoming setbacks, filled me on the basics of what the military police does and how it is different from civilian police forces, and talked me through mentorship ideas and thoughts on closing the recruitment gap in the military today.

He also gave some great career advice for those entering the military, mid-career leaders inside the military and out, and general advice about overcoming career politics.
