Fire Emblem Engage DLC - Hard Classic - Part 49: The Lonely Heir (Veronica's Divine Paralogue)

Wave 3 of the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass is here, and with it comes two brand-new Divine Paralogues! Upon completing these, you can gain access to two new Emblem Bracelets: one for Chrom and Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening, and one for Veronica from the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes.

To access the Divine Paralogues, you must buy the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass, then clear Chapter 6. Go back to the Somniel and witness an event at Lookout Ridge where the Bracelet of the Three Houses will be found. After watching the event that follows, go back to the World Map, and a new pathway will open to a separate area where the Divine Paralogues will be.

Veronica's Paralogue requires you to fight on two fronts, with one team of 4 on the left side, and another team of 4 on the right side. Veronica is inaccessible at the start, and you have to press two switches (one on each side) at the same time to access her location. She will use her hero summoning ability four times: once at the very beginning in the bottom center, when you clear out the enemies guarding each switch she'll summon reinforcements to defend them, and once her island becomes accessible she'll summon the last round behind you. You'll want high-Resistance units to press the switches because both are in the attack range of a Mage Cannoneer on Veronica's Island.

The way Veronica's island becomes accessible after hitting the switches threw me off guard at first. I thought it was going to create a bridge in the center, not smash the islands together. Anyway, as a mage, Veronica is weak against physical attacks, so unload on her.
