Father Tim informs Corinne that he's leaving the priesthood because he didn't have the calling, and insists that the two have to be married before they make love.
Carol convinces Jodie that they should live together ,as friends, just before Dennis Phillips walks back into Jodie's life, his wife having left him, and he wants Jodie back he says.
Still waiting on the jury's verdict, Jessica's lighthearted facade finally breaks down, as she admits to Chester how frightened she is.
E.Ronald Mallu confesses he's fallen in love with Jessica, who conceals their embrace from Chester by pretending it's a dance lesson for "The Hustle", which Chester joins in with.
The verdict is in, and with it the first season comes to an end.
