Wild Mushroom Foraging in Early March

In this video Aaron Hilliard, Mycologist and creator of Mushroom Wonderland, takes us on a journey into a beautiful lush forest of the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America to see what wild mushrooms are growing near the trail so that you might be able to better know the fungi around you.
I have been studying mushrooms for over 30 years. After being introduced to mushrooms by my grandmother at a very young age, my interest has, well mushroomed into what it is today. I am currently the VP of the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society and love being a part of the mushroom community. I love to find and study mushrooms, to eat them and to learn all about them, and the people who interact with them.
In this simple video we will encounter several mushrooms growing in Bremerton Washington on a simple hike down the trail of a county park.
