Clashes break out at train crash protest in Athens

Clashes erupted between protesters and police in Athens, following a public uproar over last week’s train crash, which killed 57 people.

Protesters hurled stones and petrol bombs at police. Officers, dressed in full riot gear, responded with tear gas and stun grenades. At least seven officers were injured and five demonstrators were arrested.
