Greetings! Welcome to another adventure!

I've been waiting for this unadulterated adventures for week, however, 3 days before my trip begins, Canterbury has been hit with heavy rain, and a few major roads have been closed due to surface flooding. There's been delays with reopening road networks and my hopes are dwindling thinking my long awaited trip is going to be cancelled.

I checked the road people after the weather system has passed, and assured that the major roads going to where I'm heading to is now passable, however, with some minor difficulties. So the next morning, like really early morning, I started packing up and drove for a few hours to reach my destination, hopefully reaching Mackenzie region in a considerably early time, and I did.

Thanks to the road people (NZTA), working tirelessly to restore road networks, rerouting traffic and keeping NZ moving.
