A video/photo gallery that covers the 1.25 mile out - 2.5 miles total there and back - Bloom Lake Hike from the trailhead located off of US-26. Plenty of parking for this nice hike out in the woods... extremely friendly hike that anyone can do. Nice little jogging trail! The Lake is small... don't be fooled by the first two lakes/ponds you run across as you travel up the trail. The lake you want is off of the dirt road and this is where you want to be. So: Go up the trail, go left at the fork, when you hit the road turn Right and the Lake will be off to your Right. Easy.

Directions: From Portland just take US-26. From Beaverton it's around 45 miles or so and takes about 50 minutes travel time. From the Seaside Aquarium it's about a 35 minute drive or about 30 miles away. Summertime traffic can be a hassle so leave early in the morning otherwise you might run into traffic. The middle part of the 8 minute video - about a minute in - is four minutes long just covering the start of the trail. The footage is sped up a bit but you can fast forward through that if you do not want that much trail detail.

Nice hike in the woods. Looking for something short and quick, or a break from the US-26 traffic then this is the ticket. As regards your vehicle and parking at the Bloom Lake Trailhead, as always, do not leave valuables in your vehicle because as Oregon descends into WEF sponsored economic chaos things will become tighter and tighter and some people will resort to stealing. It's already bad enough. As always... protect yourself at all times and enjoy life!
