My First Shower In Off Grid Tiny House

I finally had my first shower in the tiny house on wheels. This is a huge moment in my off grid life. I have had no real indoor shower in years (yes I bathe).

I have this portable camp shower that I received in the mail as a gift a couple weeks ago. I have been wanting to use since I got it. It has been sitting on my tiny house living room table the entire time taunting me.

I finally finished the shower stall installation the other day and sealed off the drain. All I had to do is get some hot running water in the shower.

But to install hot water will take some time and also some water pressure in the tiny house. I did not want to wait that long.

So I got out the portable camp shower and tried it out for size in the tiny house shower stall.

The portable shower has a long enough power cable with a cigarette lighter socket that it easily reaches from the bathroom shower to the kitchen where I have a 12 volt power socket.

The shower has a submersible water pump with a long water hose that reaches from the floor to the top of the shower stall.

It also comes with a suction cup mount to attach it to the shower stall as needed.

There is a rubber coated waterproof switch to turn the pump on and off while you shower or lather up so you can save water.

There is also an adjustment on the side of the shower head to reduce the pressure of the water coming out.

I heated up some water on the stove and put some more water in a 5 gallon bucket and got ready for my first ever indoor shower at the off grid homestead.

I can tell you that it felt amazing. I was so happy words cannot express it.

This is a huge moment at the off grid homestead.

Thank you to everyone who watches my videos and everyone who has ever contributed. It is not possible without you.
