Putting Sheathing On My Off Grid Solar Battery Shed

I started putting sheathing on my off grid solar battery shed. I may have finished in a day but I had to help out a friend which took half the day.

My neighbor called me from the hospital. He was ready to be picked up and needed a ride home. So I had a couple hours in the morning to work on the shead sheathing.

I am putting it together using scraps of wood that I can find around the yard. This includes plywood and OSB scraps.

I also got some of the trim on the edges of the shed roof. While I was in town anyway picking up my neighbor from the hospital, I grabbed some trim for the roof at Home Depot.

I got back to the homestead at 4 pm. It was getting dark soon so I got right to work installing the new roof trim.

It is supposed to rain the next couple days so I want to get this trim installed immediately to stop the rain from getting between the roofing and the wood underneath.

I managed to get the front and back drip edges installed before it got too dark to safely work on the roof. I will put on the side edges after I finish the wall sheathing.

I worked a bit after dark on the exterior sheathing. I am hauling out all the scraps I can find to finish this job.

I am running out of materials though so I had to call it a night for now. I will have to dig out more plywood from the barn wood pile. This will be quite a job since it is mixed in with other wood in the pile. I have to sort through beams, planks and boards to get to anything.
