Off Grid Homesteading With Troy & Melanie

Melanie and I are working full blast at the off grid homestead as a family now. It sure feels good to have someone special by my side from now on.

I am working on the kitchen wall so that we can hang the coffee cups, pots and pans out of the way. We are working the wedding registry gifts into the tiny house on wheels.

We did some more laundry this day. I worked out in the wood shop and in the tiny house kitchen while Melanie worked on the laundry and on sorting out her gear. She is working her own belongings into the tiny home.

I got this wood from the small engine shop recently. It was used one time as lawn mower crates and makes the perfect wood for the kitchen wall.

I used the planer on the boards that were flat enough and the belt sander on the others that were too warped for the planer.

I had to take a board off of a pallet in order to be able to strip off the staples and nails. Then I could cut and measure them and sand and plane them down for use in the tiny house kitchen.

I am very much liking the looks of the new kitchen wall so far.
