Collin Gow, C.N.C. goes foraging in Florida with his son at a nature park with many predatory birds, shellrock trails, a playground, and an education center. Together Collin and his son identify and discuss animals and wild, edible plants, lichens, and fungi and their biological actions, health benefits, nutritional properties, and ethnomedicinal uses. Cool sightings include: a Bald Eagle, Falcons, Owls, other Raptors, Snakes, Firebush Fruits, Cucumber Weed, Marlberry, Sawgill mushrooms, Cramp Balls, Marsh Parsley, Lemons, and more! Subjects such as botany, mycology, morphology, phenology, phytochemistry, ethnopharmacology, folk medicine, traditional medicine, natural medicine, and Native American (American Indian) medicine come up while on the hike.
