Description:
There are many major scale modes guitar lessons that exist and many ways to approach getting the guitar modes explained clearly. My approach in this lesson focuses on seeing the difference between each of the major scale modes on the fretboard by identifying the defining note of each of the modes. The "Guitar Modes Exercise" in this lesson is designed to help you internalize all seven of the major scale modes with a hands-on approach by moving one note down by one half step as you cycle through the modes on guitar along a single string. Having the guitar modes explained and practiced in this way includes a massive ear training benefit as a bonus. This exercise for major scale modes practice is made easy for beginners but it's excellent for experienced guitar players as well.
