I finished the greenhouse potting table and then set up some solar panels and a battery bank inside our off grid winter greenhouse.

This is the second part of the video where I am building a potting bench using all reclaimed barn wood. I have an old barn that was dumped here which I use for most of my projects.

This is good, solid old wood and great for rustic projects like this potting bench.

I ran out of screws so I finished up using the framing nailer. I had to get the generator and air compressor going to use the framing nailer but it got the job done.

Next I brought in some solar power batteries and set them up on the bottom shelf of the potting table. I made this shelf just for the batteries. This keeps them off the ground and out of the way while we work in our greenhouse this winter.

I have two Alpha Cell batteries that are made for solar power systems which I got at the scrap metal yard years ago. These old batteries are still holding power very well. I am amazed at their quality and usable life. I figure they will serve me in the off grid greenhouse.

I will have solar LED lighting and an aquaponics system in the greenhouse. I hope to provide food for our family all year.

We get some cold winters here so I have a lot of work to do before the snow falls.
