In the period leading up to 9/11, a group of Israelis managed to secure “temporary construction” passes to perform work on the 91st floor of Larry “pull it” Silverstein’s leased WTC 1. These passes gave them access to the entire WTC complex. "Art Students" were granted studio space in the on the 91st and 92nd floors of the North Tower under the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's (LMCC) artist residency program in the WTC. In Quick Click, a project by the E-Team, a performance art group, the "E-Team" took photographic portraits of people in the studio from a helicopter that was hovering outside the building. Two members of the E-Team were in the helicopter, another in the studio space, and people were lined up along the windows to have their portraits taken. These are the floors where the "E Team" blew out the windows to simulate a plane strike as CNN overlaid the planes onto their "live feed."
