Thermal-Optical Image Fusion: AGM Fuzion LRF
1 year ago
321
Thermal fusion systems usually consist of a thermal image overlay piggy backed onto an analog night vision device. Thermal-optical image fusion systems like the AGM Fuzion LRF use an IR sensitive low light camera in lieu of an analog image intensifier; that makes them much cheaper and in theory better suited to daytime use.
So how does it actually work, and who would benefit from a system like this? Probably not you or me.
