What Good Are You? Show Notes
Summary:
It’s always sad to learn a child grew up in an environment where the nurture and admonition of the Lord was not present. Our upbringing molds and shapes our personalities and our thinking, and too often, it results in us feeling worthless or unworthy as adults. However, this is not how God sees us!

Scriptures:
All Scripture references are from the King James Version of the Bible.

Ephesians 1:3-6, Ephesians 3:14-19, Ephesians 2:19-22, Romans 3:21-24, 2 Corinthians 5:20-21, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 2 Timothy 1:7, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Ephesians 4:11-16, Proverbs 27:17, 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, Jeremiah 17:14

I use a Tyndale large print King James Bible that can be found here:

Takeaway:
God no longer sees you in your sins; God sees you in His Son. He actually changed you from the sinful individual you are into a new creature. Why would God do this if you were unworthy? Your body remembers what your mind tries to forget. Deal with the pain that is hindering you from having the communion with God that you desire. Ask God to open the wounds of the past so you can face them, confront them, and put them to rest. Find the help you need to deal with your pain, and remove the obstacle that is robbing you of the joy or your salvation!
