When Your Supreme Court Tells the State to Go Pound Sand

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the HUGE news out of Oregon today as the State Supreme Court has once again, denied a motion by the State to lift the injunction on OBM 114. As you are aware, a Judge in Harney County has issued a temporary injunction against the law which precludes the implementation and enforcement of any portion of that law right now. Although this is only a temporary victory, this is huge news when considering what must be shown to prevail on a motion for a temporary injunction, which is the likelihood of prevailing on the merits of the case.
