Lavrov visits Sudan to discuss strengthening economic ties

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov’s tour of Africa has been widely considered a success in the countries he’s visited, as new horizons for expanding Russia's economic ties with the continent have been explored at numerous high-level meetings.

Lavrov’s latest and final stop in Sudan comes as the media reports that American and European officials are to meet with the North African country's leadership at around the same time.
