2 children killed, 6 injured after bus crashes into daycare north of Montreal - starmoon

In Laval, a city to the north of Montreal, a city bus collided with a daycare on Wednesday morning, leaving two children dead and six others injured. The bus driver has been taken into custody.

Children's hospital Ste-Justine in Montreal acknowledged receiving some of the accident victims. An update will be given in the afternoon, the hospital stated in a statement that it is "welcoming the young victims with significant injuries requiring immediate care."

"I can't imagine what the families are going through, but certainly if there's anything the federal government can do, we'll be there," Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in response to the predicament.
