Earthquake destroys road connecting Turkey and Syria, drone video shows - global news by starmoon

Following Monday's 7.8-magnitude earthquake, which killed hundreds of people in both Turkey and Syria, drone footage of the main route connecting the two nations' cities of Hatay and Aleppo revealed enormous fissures in the road.

The devastating earthquake caused injuries, destroyed numerous homes, and toppled thousands of structures, including hospitals, schools, and apartment buildings.

Rescuers were hindered from getting to some of the worst-affected places, such as Kahramanmaraş, when the death toll surpassed 11,000 people, by damaged roads, bad weather, and a shortage of heavy equipment.
