How do you practice compassion on your past mental health struggles? How do you also deal with people who hold you to the "old you" and the old issues of the past? How do you walk into the new when people around you are holding you to the past?

In today's broadcast, I address the following question:
"In learning to accept and have compassion on yourself and who you were in your mental illness, how do you maintain that? And how do also have compassion on the fact that others may not have that same compassion on your past? How do handle when people justifiably react to you out of the person you were before, not the healthy person you're becoming?"
