A couple of days ago before I was about to make a video asking people to pray with me for Turkey and Syria, the enemy came right in. He tried to tempt me into submission to him out of fear. Fear that if I spoke about prayer, that my channel would be at risk of being penalized or even removed.

The instant I heard the voice of the enemy, something happened. I felt the rush of the Holy Spirit come right in, and a powerful peace filled my body, and I breathed out the words, "If I perish I perish."

It was as if I had "tasted of the powers of the endless life, and of the world to come." I felt what I had never experienced before.

It was an other-worldly, heavenly freedom combined with a joy that bore me about on eagles wings. It remained for the rest of the day. Over the next 48 hours the words, "If I perish I perish" continued to resound in my inner ear.

I realized that when we say those words, we do not realize what it really means. We say it in times when we have to do something we do not like or that is hard.

Esther said those words with the knowledge that what she was about to do could possibly end her life. Yet she relinquished her very life, not even knowing the outcome.

When she gave up her life, she gave all the room for God to save all the Jewish people through her.Life came out of death. What are you holding onto that is a breathless idol?

Let go of the perishables of this world and this life. Seek for what is eternal, the imperishable and "the Incorruptible Crown." (1 Corinthians 9:25).

“There are times when nothing holds the heart but a long, long look at Calvary. How very small anything that we are allowed to endure seems beside that Cross.”
