Happy bitcoin pizza day everyone!!!

On this day, May 22 2010 the first documented exchange of bitcoins for real world goods happened. Florida-based programmer and early cryptocurrency enthusiast Laszlo Hanyecz posted on the bitcoin talk forum that he would exchange 10,000 bitcoins for 2 large pizzas, and someone called Jeremy Sturdivant was the counterparty to this offer.
By today’s price that was around $82 million for 2 pizzas. A huge thank you to these two people for paving the way and helping to kickstart Bitcoin adoption worldwide!
