Elk, Moose and Deer Hunting for Girls: Can a 12 Year Old Shoot a Tikka T3X Lite in 7mm?

We all know hunting is for girls, but when you're after elk, moose or deer can a 12 year old shoot a Tikka T3X Lite in 7mm? Yep, no problem! These girls come through after quite a long drought, and land some beautiful deer for the year ahead. These are all regular guy hunts; no guides, outfitters or personal hunting properties.

Besides the deer, we encounter some really nice elk and moose but just not quite in the right place at the right time during the right season. Which is why hunting is an awful lot like wilderness photography.

The girls hunt primarily with a Tikka T3 lite in .243 but also used a Tikka T3X Lite in 7mm on this hunt.
