Egypt's First Supertall Skyscraper (Iconic Tower)

Get ready for the Iconic Tower, a 400m, $3.8 billion skyscraper currently under construction in Cairo, Egypt. The tower will be the focal point in Cairo’s new Administrative capital project estimated to cost $45-60 billion!

Launched by Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in 2015, 3 years later, in 2018, the tower started construction and is being led by various Egyptian companies in cooperation with Chinese development firm CESC, who are providing many of the resources needed for the project.
